Your Challenge:

As Sales manager, you are responsible for the sales of our products in Spain and Portugal. Therefore you build strong partnerships with our existing accounts and you target new prospects with the objective to maximise the volume of product while maintaining appropriate contribution margins.

Concrete tasks are:

You define and develop the prospection and growth strategy for the region based on the global growth strategy and you are responsible for reaching your personal sales objectives.

You use your track record in the Spanish automotive market to detect new business opportunities and to build successful partnerships.

You analyse potential & set up commercial plans.

Together with the existing distributors and the regional channel marketeer you define the go to market strategy to activate the sales in their sell-out channels.

You optimize the contacts with the key accounts.

You detect upsell/cross selling opportunities with the existing customer portfolio.

You have a solid understanding of the customer/prospect’s business , strategy and operational issues.

You negotiate prices & agreements and you follow up that margins are in line with regional pricing strategy.

Together with the distributor, you define how we can support him in logistics, inventory management and pricing towards his customers in the market.

You analyze sales performance and report sales numbers on regular basis.

Your Profile:

First of all you have sales experience in the Spanish automotive market (aftermarket , OES importers, garage networks, …)

Furthermore you have experience in channel sales strategies and you are able to work independently and learn continuously.

Besides that you are Fluent in Spanish & Portuguese and you have a good knowledge of English.

A good knowledge of MS Office applications is also important.

Ideally you can work form the Madrid region, so you are in the center of your region.
